One day, a few friends noticed that there really isn’t much of a web presence for the Auburn art scene. There is such a noticeable absence, that it’s hard to call it a scene at all. Well, we with the help of you all will change that. The idea of ARTKAMP was born.
A blog that its contributed to by artists and designers for artists and designers. Featuring our art, our events, our causes, our interests. Created from within the Auburn Art Department, it is by no means an extension of it. However, we are more than willing and have cooperated with the university when appropriate.
As time went on and founding members graduated and moved, our focus shifted from being Auburn centric to being community connected by interest rather than geography.
This is also a place to post work, featuring an artist and their work from time to time. So if you are interested in that, simply ask. Our future mission is to become a destination for artists beyond our community to share ideas and discoveries.
